SIGNIFICANCE

Studies across the globe has evidence that pre-primary school is block-building for a child development. Children’s early experiences – deeply affect their future physical, cognitive, emotional and social development

This is the time when a child explore the world and if a child is not given the opportunity to explore it will impact their developmental potential. This is the time when physical, emotional and social development happen which impact overall development of a child. Hence, optimising the early years of children’s lives is the best investment we can make as a society in ensuring their future success.

Here, early education doesn’t mean the formal classroom education where children gets limited access to explore their potential.

ACTIVITIES

• Creating a space in the community itself to provide early education to children

• Motivating community to send their children at AWCs and community resource centre

• Socio-emotional learning 

• Enabling a learning environment at home through counselling of caregivers

• Parent’s meeting to make them aware about importance of early education and it’s impact on Physical, Social-Emotional, Creative, Cognitive and Language development of a Child

• Co-ordination with ICDS for successful implementation of Early Childhood Education

• Creating Library forChildren in community

• Promoting Sports & Games

• Developing learning materials that can be used by caregivers at Home without spending extra money & time

• Linking Pre-School children with Schools
